My Story

My name is Ashley Vazquez

I was born in a small, underprivileged town called Ashtabula, OH. The lack of resources in the area and the birth of my son at a young age encouraged me to provide and branch out of my town. After graduating from High School in 2013, I immediately went back to college where I struggled to pick a major and acquired a decent amount of debt all while working various part-time jobs. Sometimes I had to work 2 jobs while attending college to make ends meet. I also was living in the projects and surviving off of government assistance. At this time, I needed stability so I decided to enlist in the United States Army to help with the costs of school, get out of my hometown, and serve my country. After 3 years of attending college as an undecided student and working part-time jobs, I was finally approved by the U.S. Army to enlist and I was shipped off to basic training in August 2016. I dedicated 4 years of my life to the Army and was medically retired in 2020. Since retirement, I have utilized my G.I. Bill to follow my dreams of being an Audio Engineer by pursuing my BS in Audio Production at Full Sail University. In my professional life, I have worked as a sound design intern with Cellec Games and have managed many projects on the side in my spare time. I currently have a brand entitled BerryC Productions and I hope to start my own business.
